The strain gauge system digiSENS DMS from Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) was developed for strain measurement on machine and system components. A unique characteristic of this sensor is the patented assembly technique, which allows the sensor to be set up by an assembly worker directly at the production line. If replacement is required, the sensor can be changed directly on site. As the calibration data are transferred in case of replacement, the new strain gauge sensor can be used right away without additional recalibration, meaning that the system is ready for operation again in just a short period of time. Only an offset-alignment must be done.
The inclination / gyro sensor digiSENS NGS2 from Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) measures the angular velocity and the inclination angle around the respective rotation axis. The acceleration values in the direction of the respective axis are also available. The measured values are available digitally via CAN-bus or analog on three outputs as voltage or current signal.
